Your company adds some items for skiing to its product range. You purchase these items, store them, and sell them to your customers.
2-1 Define Item Group.
Define an item group Skiing for your new product line.
2-2 Create item master records.
2-2-1 Create an item, A2000, with the description Ski. Assign it to your new item group Skiing. This item is a purchase, sales, and inventory item. The purchase price per item is 250.
You purchase the Ski from your vendor S1000.
For information purposes you also have to maintain the Length (180cm), the Width (10cm), the Height (20cm) and the Weight (6kg).
2-2-2 Create an item A2001 with the description Ski Boots.
Assign it to your new item group Skiing. The regular vendor is again S1000. The Length, Width, and Height are each 40cm, and the Weight is 5 kg.
This item is a purchase, sales and inventory item. The purchase price per item is 80.
2-3 Find item master records and work with the Choose from List.
2-3-1 Choose Item Master Data. In the Item Number field, type in A and choose Enter or Find. Which item master record do you find?
