Your company adds some items for skiing to its product range. You purchase these items, store them, and sell them to your customers.

2-1 Define Item Group.
Define an item group Input Devices for your new product line.

2-2 Create item master records.

2-2-1 Create an item, A00011, with the description Mouse. Assign it to your new item group Input Devices. This item is a purchase, sales, and inventory item. The purchase price per item is 250.

You purchase the Mouse from your vendor V20000.

For information purposes you also have to maintain the Length (180cm), the Width (10cm), the Height (20cm) and the Weight (6kg).

2-2-2 Create an item A00012 with the description Joys Stick.

Assign it to your new item group Input Devices. The regular vendor is again V20000. The Length, Width, and Height are each 40cm, and the Weight is 5 kg.
This item is a purchase, sales and inventory item. The purchase price per item is 80.
2-2-3 Create an item A00013 with the description Track ball.

Assign it to your new item group Input Devices. The regular vendor is again V20000. The Length, Width, and Height are each 20cm, and the Weight is 3 kg.
This item is a purchase, sales and inventory item. The purchase price per item is 90.

2-3 Find item master records and work with the Choose from List.

2-3-1 Choose Item Master Data. In the Item Number field, type in A and choose Enter or Find. Which item master record do you find?

2-3-2 Choose Item Master Data. In the Item Number field type in A* and choose Enter or Find. What is the result now?

2-3-3 Choose Item Master Data. In the Item Number field, type in A0* and choose Enter or Find. The Choose from List containing all items opens. Customize the list in order to search items at first by the item group and subsequently by the item number.

2-3-4 True or false?
